Add domain to qmail

From time to time a domain may be added and qmail fails to accept the new domain. This requires you to manually add the domain so qmail will accept email addressed to this domain.

Login via SSH:
Open the following files and add each domain as a separate line to each file:

regen the /var/qmail/control/morercpthosts.cdb file:


restart qmail:
/etc/init.d/qmail restart

Note – this article assumes that qmail is located in it’s default path. However, if your qmail installation uses non-standard folders/locations you must first perform a locate to find the files you have to work with.
